A website review on Silvana Trevale
This website is easy to navigate due to its simplicity yet it still remains compact with information and work. The side bar sectioning each area of work helps to clearly identify specific work found within the sub titles. When clicking onto the images it sends the viewer into a portfolio of the rest of the work within the story with a section describing the work and when it was created. The work doesn't have too many images nor too little.
Silvana has come to the University of Huddersfield many times to talk about her work and study during my time at the University. Being able to view her website and see the final outcomes of the work she was in the process of and seeing the stories and messages from descriptions come to life is remarkable through the engagement of a website platform.
Trevale keeps her website simple and easy to navigate by making her work easy to locate through sub headings: Commissions and Projects. Other sections containing key information however less visible than the work are the about section and her contact details. Whilst these are valid its important the viewer is able to see the work made in order to reach out so keeping these separate and less in the viewers face seems to be efficient. Adding another platform like Instagram onto your website is a great way for people to interact with other work and see work on another platform potentially more familiar with the viewer.
Silvana's website include many well known brands and celebrities. This will make her work stand out to viewers and may potentially add onto her favour when another scout is looking through her work. This seems beneficial.
