Runs a publishing company called loose joints and a book shop called Ensemble.

A self-published project made at the age of 16/17 years of age called 'You make me feel (mighty real)'. Alongside this publication, he also created a press release alongside this. From then on he has made a vast amount of projects alongside artist Alex Webb. From creating publications they both went on the exhibiting work and working with a range of other people work with other photographers and curators with books named' minus five' and 'project 1419'.

Risograph printers have been used as they are cheap, affordable, and tactile due to Suzzane Kraft's work 'Red Flag's having a gritty look alongside elements of pops of color which draw the viewer to look at the work. Using this particular type of printer allowed the work to be more tactile fitting in with the work created.

Chaplin worked as a book designer for high-end brands such as Mac. Chaplin explains that publishing during the national pandemic of COVID-19 and lockdowns has allowed him to become bolder and more experimental towards approaching work and the mechanics of the book. During experimenting 'Pacifico' created a book that was very sculptural and the artist was used to exhibiting prints they were able to relate this into a book format to exhibit rather than his go-to prints for exhibiting. This book has a normal fold for opening and closing however the work turns into an accordion style of fold within the usual open and close of an ordinary book.
