Exhibition Visit- Through Our Lens: Growing up with COVID-19 #6

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

Impressions gallery exhibition visit attended with peers Francesca Ward and Katie Pickering 23/02/22

Whilst attending this exhibition I was able to connect to the work made due to my current state of mind and studies focusing on similar aspects of isolation and loneliness. The work created by the mind of young children was truly remarkable. The work allows the viewer to experience the mindset of the photographer and experience the emotions they have gone through viewing the work.

Many of the children's artist statements explain how they often felt isolated from friends and family. Others mentioned emotions of feeling trapped and confined to their bedrooms.

I would highly recommend going to see this exhibition for yourself. The impressions gallery are holding this particular exhibit 05 January 2022 - 26 March 2022
